Synopsis

This white man blues band graced the stage of Woodstock in 1969, with hippie audiences dubbing them the “kings of the boogie.” It all started with blues lovers Bob Hite and Alan Wilson who founded Canned Heat in 1965. Wilson is regarded a pioneer of blues-rock and writer of the hits ‘On The Road Again’ and ‘Going Up The Country’. Sadly, both key figures of Canned Heat passed away at a young age. The surviving members continued touring and recording, sharing their legacy.
