Synopsis

Foo Fighters was formed by Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl after the death of Kurt Cobain. The one-man project resulted in the hit debut album ‘Foo Fighters’. Grohl assembled a band with slightly changing line-ups. Sadly, they recently lost drummer Taylor Hawkins on March 25, 2022 at age 50. Pitchfork described Foo Fighters as “a consistent hit machine pumping out working-class rock.” They won 15 Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Album five times and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.
