Synopsis
Kraftwerk was formed in 1970 and is widely regarded as a pioneer of electronic music. They built custom-made electronic instruments and utilized cuttingedge equipment to create their signature sound. The album “Autobahn,” particularly its title track, brought them
international acclaim. The 22-minute-long title track featured repetitive rhythms and synthesized vocals, mimicking the experience of driving on the German highway.
In 2014, Kraftwerk was honored with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for their contributions to music.
