Synopsis

This is R.E.M. fresh after the release of their biggest album ever: “Out Of Time”. The band chose to unplug for a change and perform their songs in an acoustic setting. It makes Michael Stipe’s unusual lyrics and his distinctive vocals stand out even more. In a post-punk era, R.E.M. brought back guitar pop and pioneered the alternative rock genre, inspiring generations of new bands. R.E.M. disbanded amicably in 2011, but their rich musical legacy lives on and shines on this intimate recording featuring hit songs “Losing My Religion” and “Radio Song”.
