Synopsis

Soundgarden helped popularize alternative metal and grunge music and are one of the first groups to sign to Seattle’s pioneering Sub Pop label. Leaning heavily into metal, the combination of front man Chris Cornell’s four-octave vocal range and guitarist Kim Thayil’s winding riffs, leaving an impressive mark on music. Traveling across the USA with Lollapalooza, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam both were about to have their big break. The two bands developed a solid bond. Eddie Veddereven joins in on ‘Outshined’, which is of course featured on this record.
