Nine Inch Nails – Woodstock ’94
Nine Inch Nails entered the 90’s music scene full force, their industrial rock sound becoming a critical and commercial success. An estimate of 200.000 people gathered at the NothStage on Saturday, August 13 to experience Nine Inch Nails live. It was by far the largest, densest crowd at Woodstock ’94, the festival dubbed “Mudstock” after aheavy rainstorm left the grounds a big wet slippery mess. NIN had never played such a big festival crowd, so to relieve the tension the band started a mud fight backstage. Completely caked in dirt NIN played an iconic set now available on, how fitting, muddy brown coloured vinyl.
