AC/DC was formed in Sydney in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Referred to byrock producerRick Rubin as “the greatest rock and roll band of all time“, the band quickly became one of the defining acts of ’70s hard rock and their success lasted decades. In the late 80’s it was feared the band would fizzle outt, but AC/DC made a hell of a commercial comeback in the 90’s with the world-wide hit ‘Thunderstruck’. This is the men on the Ballbreaker World Tour, hitting all the stops and playing all the hits.

Neil Young – Live at Farm Aid

Neil Youngs career spans 7 decades in which he released he has released many critically acclaimed albums that combine folk, rock, country and other genres. His versatile guitar work, heartfelt harmonica, personal lyrics and signature vocal sound speaks to generations. Young also uses his voice to make change, he’s an environmentalist and outspoken advocate for the welfare of small farmers, having co-founded in 1985 the benefit concert Farm Aid. This vinyl captures the best of Neil Young live at Farm Aid in 1990, 1992 and 1995.

Some call Frank Sinatra the most important musical figure of the 20th century. He quit high school to pursue a career in music. He mainly focused on the great American songbook, which let to a re-discovering of the early 20thcentury songs by the masses and cementing their status as classics. Sinatra scored his first number one hit in 1940 and was still making million-selling recordings 5 decades later. Sam Cooke – The King of Soul

Sam Cooke was The King of Soul. Often called the most influential singer and basically the inventor of the genre, Cooke paved the way for artists like Aretha Franklin, Al Green and Marvin Gaye. As a performer in a segrated USA he was beloved by both the black and white communities and he played a central role in the civil rights movement, campaigning for racial equality alongside his close friends Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X.
